Frequently Asked Questions
You will have many questions and I try to answer them all. It is important to remember that answers can vary from person to person because everyone's hair and scalp is a little different. This page offers general answers to questions I hear time and again. Please try and take the time to read all the questions below as it will answer most of the questions you will ask when calling.
Should you still have questions (AFTER reading this page) please feel free to call or email me I UNDERSTAND that this can be a huge step and investment and that you need to feel sure (I’ve been there).
How does it work?
Your hair is strung through a tiny copper coil, then the extension is inserted and the coil is securely clamped with a tool – no glue, no heat, no fusion and no chemicals.
Can you see them?
The extensions are always applied behind the hair line and away from the natural partings. The unique coils are color matched so they blend naturally with your hair and are virtually undetectable!
Is this process comfortable?
Yes, it is so comfortable it feels like your own hair.
Will the extensions damage my hair?
No, the extensions will not damage your hair. In fact, some say their hair growth has increased.
There is no tension, chemicals or heat used during the application or the take down process. This is the safest system around today.
Will the hair match my color and texture?
Absolutely. I will match your color perfectly. Blending is the most important part.
Is there a special way to care for my Hair Extensions?
During the consultation I will show you a maintenance guide and discuss it with you. The guide includes everything you need to know to keep your hair and the extensions in good condition. Of course a copy of the guide will be yours to keep after application.
You can still color, perm, relax and style your hair like normal. Even use your hot tools like flat irons and hot curlers – but with better results!
How long do they last?
This is completely up to you. The hair is reusable, and as long as you come for regular maintenance, usually every two to three months depending on how quickly your hair grows, and follow my maintenance guide they can last for years.
Can I treat them like my own hair?
Yes you can. I do recommend that you use certain products while you have them in your hair which I will advise you on. Having hair extensions is just like having hair you have grown yourself, but without the wait.
Can I swim with them in?
Yes, you can do anything you would normally do with your own hair.
